1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work (e.g. keep you logged in), remember preferences, and sometimes support analytics or marketing. We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. How we use cookies

Essential cookies are necessary for the service to function (e.g. authentication, security, load balancing). We do not ask for consent for these; without them the site would not work properly.

Non-essential cookies (e.g. analytics, marketing) are used only where we have your prior consent. In the EU/EEA and other jurisdictions that require it, we ask for your opt-in before setting such cookies or activating related tools. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie preference controls or your browser settings. If you choose Essential only, analytics tools do not run and any analytics-related storage we control is not used for new capture.

Analytics (statistics) cookies and similar technologies

If you choose Accept all on our marketing site, we use PostHog (EU cloud) under this analytics category. PostHog helps us understand how the site and product are used. It may set cookies or use similar browser storage and collect:

• Pages viewed, navigation paths, and general interaction events (e.g. clicks and scrolls)
• Device and browser information (e.g. language, screen size, operating system)
• Session replay — recordings of how you interact with pages (e.g. mouse movements, scrolling, and clicks). These replays are part of our analytics programme, not essential operation. We configure replay to mask form field inputs by default so typed content is not recorded unless we deliberately expose a specific element for debugging

Analytics and session replay do not start until you accept non-essential cookies on the marketing site. They are not activated if you choose Essential only. When you are logged into the Lumenbase application, similar analytics may run to operate and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy. PostHog is listed on our Subprocessors page.

Marketing site visitor cookie

When you visit our public marketing site (e.g. lumenbase.io homepage, pricing, features), we may set a cookie named lb_visitor. It stores an anonymous identifier so we can:

• Recognise you as a returning visitor
• Understand how the marketing site is used (e.g. which pages and links are viewed or clicked)
• If you later create an account, link that visit history to your account for our internal analytics and support

We may also collect approximate location (country/city) and device information (e.g. browser, operating system, language) in connection with this cookie. This is used for analytics and product improvement. In the EU/EEA and where required by law, we treat this as a non-essential (analytics) cookie and obtain your consent before setting it. 3. Managing your choices

You can withdraw consent or change your cookie preferences at any time by:

• Using the Cookie preferences link in our footer (on marketing pages) to reopen the consent banner and choose "Essential only" or "Accept all".
• Adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies may affect how the service works.

Change cookie preferences — reopens the consent banner so you can choose again.
