LinkedIn CRM Sync: Browser Extension for Sales

    Setup Guide

Lumenbase Capture syncs LinkedIn contacts and messages into your CRM. Optional 1:1 DMs from the app—not bulk LinkedIn outreach automation.

Sales runs on LinkedIn, but LinkedIn doesn't talk to your CRM. So reps copy names, paste messages, and lose half the history.

Lumenbase fixes that with a Chrome extension called Lumenbase Capture. It links your LinkedIn session to the CRM.

    What the extension syncs

Once installed and authed, Capture pulls LinkedIn data into Lumenbase:

It also highlights profiles you already have in the CRM while you browse.

    • Contacts and company profiles you add or subscribe to
    • LinkedIn conversations and messages
    • Network and connection data
    • Activity, shown in the LinkedIn Monitor lab

Sending LinkedIn messages from the CRM

You can send individual LinkedIn DMs through the extension instead of switching tabs. Messages land on the same contact timeline as your email and calls. This is not a bulk sequence or prospecting tool.

One thing to know: remote LinkedIn messaging needs to be turned on. Go to Settings → Integrations → LinkedIn, and enable "Allow remote LinkedIn outreach." The extension has to be active on the machine running your LinkedIn session. Without that, messages fail quietly.

    Where LinkedIn data shows up

After sync, you'll find it in a few places:

Organize captured contacts into Lists for campaigns; run sequences in Reply, Snov, or similar if you use them.

    • My Connections (`/directory/private-connections`)
    • Added Profiles (`/directory/subscribed-profiles`)
    • LinkedIn Monitor lab, for the activity feed
    • The contact timeline, mixed with email and calendar events

What you need to run it

    A short checklist:

    1. The `linkedin_sync` feature on your plan
    2. The Lumenbase Capture extension installed in Chrome
    3. Auth through `/extension-auth`
    4. Remote LinkedIn messaging enabled if you want to send DMs from the CRM

    Who this is for

Revenue operators at $2M to $30M ARR companies who work on LinkedIn and want contacts and threads in the CRM—not a second spreadsheet. Pair Capture with Lists and your outreach platform for the full top-of-funnel stack.

    Frequently asked questions

Does Lumenbase sync LinkedIn contacts and messages?

Yeah. The Lumenbase Capture Chrome extension syncs contacts, conversations, messages, and network data.

Can I send LinkedIn messages from the CRM?

Yes, one-to-one through the extension. Enable remote LinkedIn messaging in Settings and keep the extension active. Not for automated bulk outreach.

Why are my LinkedIn messages not sending?

Usually remote messaging is off, or the extension isn't active on the machine with your LinkedIn session. Both have to be on.

Where do synced LinkedIn contacts appear?

In My Connections, Added Profiles, the LinkedIn Monitor lab, and on each contact's timeline. Use Lists to segment them for plays.
